| Аннотація: | The paper provides a comparative analysis of the verbal systems of Ukrainian and English, examining the interlingual syntagmatic correlative relations between the two languages. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the work of domestic a nd foreign linguists in the fields of verbal combinatorics and valency theory. This work enabled the authors to formulate a theory of autosemantism and synsemantism of verbal nominations. This theory became key to establishing correlative synthetism within the described verbs. The article proves the hypothesis that the verbal systems of Ukrainian and English, formed by autosemantic and synsemantic units, have regular formal signs of nominative correlativity as components of the universal verbal category of «processuality». |
